2 lessons John Eustace will have learned from Blackburn Rovers’ 3-0 loss to Coventry City

Blackburn Rovers were beaten for the first time in the Championship this season on Tuesday night, losing 3-0 to Coventry City at The CBS Arena.

The hosts took the lead with just ten minutes on the clock, when Jake Bidwell headed in from a free-kick. They doubled their advantage just after half-time, as Haji Wright capitalized on a defensive mix-up to fire a deflected shot past Aynsley Pears.

With just over five minutes remaining, Brandon Thomas-Asante sealed the win for Coventry after more slack defending.

This loss ended Rovers’ unbeaten start to the league season, though they have still collected 15 points from eight games. Head coach John Eustace will be looking for a quick response from his team as they face Plymouth Argyle in their final game before the international break.

After this defeat, Eustace may consider making changes. Here are two things he might have learned from the loss that could influence his decisions.
