BREAKING: New York Yankees Miss The Absence Of Their Three-time All Stars…

New York Yankees’ infield depth has fallen short of their expectations.

Prior to the 2024 campaign, New York appeared to have an excess, but injuries have since altered the situation. Though he has played all over the diamond for New York, three-time All-Star D.J. LeMahieu was predicted to start at third base for the team this season. However, he hasn’t played in a game yet because of a foot ailment.

He was even supposed to start a rehab assignment, and it appeared like he was making progress, then he had a setback. Things are less definite now. Even the Yankees manager, Aaron Boone, expressed uncertainty about LeMahieu’s impending return to the field, according to Chris Kirschner of The Athletic.

“Aaron Boone on DJ LeMahieu: ‘I don’t know if he’s that close to being ready for rehab,'” stated Kirschner. Boone stated that he had a tiny hit both today and yesterday. Boone said that Territ Cole made a full recovery from yesterday’s 15-pitch bullpen. They intend for him to return to the mound later this week.”

Despite their early season success, New York is still hurting from losing LeMahieu. LeMahieu may assist the Yankees, who have won a lot of games this season despite some offensive issues.

The Yankees could use the two-time batting champion right now. He has been a tremendous addition over the last four years. Although it is in a strong position and may contend for a World Series championship this season, New York will eventually require LeMahieu.
