Bristol Rovers Manager Matt Taylor Calls for Big Performance at Reading

Matt Taylor recently shared his support for mental health awareness in football, highlighting a topic that, while increasingly discussed, often remains overlooked. He praised Taylor Moore’s recent efforts, as Moore openly spoke about mental health and led a walk with supporters at the SS Great Britain. Taylor emphasized the importance of creating a supportive environment for players and staff, encouraging open discussions and support for anyone facing difficulties.

Taylor also reflected on the pressures of his role and how he balances them with family life. “There’s a lot of thinking time on those long journeys after a tough game,” he said. “But I’m lucky—I have two young children and a fantastic wife. I can process it and keep it in perspective until it’s needed again.”
