Excited for it’ – Former Brighton boss seeks management return and mentions Unai Emery’s job Drop

Former Brighton manager Graham Potter is eager to return to management, 18 months after his departure from Chelsea in April 2023. Following a successful spell at Brighton, Potter joined Chelsea in September 2022 for what was described as a “long-term project,” but he was sacked after just seven months.

Potter has since been linked with various roles, including Manchester United, Nice, Ajax, and Leicester, but remains out of work. He pointed to managers like Eddie Howe, now at Newcastle, and Unai Emery, currently leading Aston Villa, as examples of how to bounce back from setbacks in their careers. Potter remarked that despite his difficult stint at Chelsea, the experience was valuable, and he is excited to explore new opportunities.

Potter expressed his readiness to return, emphasizing the importance of the right opportunity. He hopes to remind potential employers of his availability as he appears on *Monday Night Football* alongside Jamie Carragher and David Jones during the Bournemouth vs. Southampton match.
