Reagor, who joined the New England Patriots at the beginning of the 2024 season, was called up from the practice squad to assist Monday night as a receiver and kick returner. When quarterback Justin Herbert hit Reagor on a deep ball approximately 40 yards downfield early on, it appeared to be a brilliant move.
After making the grab and turning upfield, the wide-open Reager needed roughly seven yards to reach the endzone. The ball dribbled into the end zone and out of bounds for a turnover when Arizona Cardinals defensive back Starling Thomas V rushed in and punched it out of Reagor’s hands.

After the game, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh stated, “Yeah, we’d love to not have that happen.” “The specifics of sealing it up are there… The ball must be in the opposite arm and cannot lighten up when you fumble close to the goal line, my goodness.
Reagor joined the Patriots at the beginning of the 2024 season. But after a contentious social media post, he was freed in September. Soon after, he joined the Chargers practice squad, but it wasn’t until Monday night that he was activated for a game.
Since the Philadelphia Eagles selected him with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Reagor’s career has been difficult. At the conclusion of 2022 training camp, the quick receiver was dealt to the Minnesota Vikings, and a year later, he ended up in New England.
In 2023, Reagor participated in 11 games and caught 7 receptions for 138 yards. But as a kick returner, he had the most impact. In Week 17, he touched a kickoff that was returned to him by the Bills.
