Fulham and West Ham drawn into Brazilian transfer drama, both deliberated to be strong interest on goalkeeper.

Fulham and West Ham United are currently being connected with Corinthians goalkeeper Carlos Miguel.

This information comes from journalist Chico Garcia, who believes both parties are interested in the 25-year-old.

The major subject of this narrative is Carlos Miguel’s decision to leave Corinthians, as he is their reserve goalkeeper and has been waiting for a chance to play for a long time.

Goalkeeper Cássio, a club veteran, has recently made multiple mistakes but has yet to lose his job, creating an uncomfortable situation among the squad.

According to reports, Carlos Miguel plans to depart if he receives offers. While Fulham, West Ham, and Monaco are all rumored to be interested in him, they could easily afford to buy him due to his €4 million release clause.

Now, a few of points must be made.

First, it’s convenient that as Carlos Miguel pressures Corinthians to play more, two Premier League clubs express interest in him. We wonder if Fulham and West Ham would be interested in a reserve player in the Brazilian division. This isn’t the first time the Hammers have been linked with Corinthians players this season; Yuri Alberto and Wesley were also mentioned.

Then there’s the reality that Chico Garcia’s video was recorded prior to last night’s game, in which Corinthians fell 1-0 to Argentinos Juniors, with a goal that Cássio could’ve done much better. After the game, the goalkeeper raged, claiming it wasn’t entirely his responsibility and even joking about leaving the team.

This circumstance may result in him being benched at the weekend, with Carlos Miguel given an opportunity, and it would not be surprising if all of the rumors fade if that happens.

Fulham and West Ham may simply get sucked into a Brazilian drama unrelated to them.
